Computer Lab: Sept. 21

1. Computer Lab Warm-Up:
*Mouse Skills: First click here. Do the four mouse warm-up activities on the website.
**Typing Skills: When you finish number 1, go here to practice typing. After you do the practice, if you think you are ready, click here and take the typing test! How fast can you type?


2. Introduction to Computers:

What do you know about computers? Learn some new computer vocabulary! Click on the link below and study the words. Listen to the words and practice the pronunciation. Then, do the practice activities. When you are done, raise your hand and show the teacher your score.

3. Listening Practice:
Click on the link below. Listen to the conversation between the man and the woman. Then, answer the questions. Show your answers to the teacher.

When you are finished, open up Microsoft Word. In the conversation, there are 5 polite questions that the speakers ask. Listen for the questions and type them in Microsoft Word. Two questions begin with the word 'may', two begin with 'could' and one begins with 'would'. Type your name at the top of the paper and e-mail it to me.

5. Pronunciation Practice:

Click on the link below. Can you hear the difference between thirteen and thirty? Take the quiz. Practice saying the words. Raise your hand and show the teacher your score when you are finished.
